What is the Online Banking
eStatement Service?
Online Banking eStatement service is the latest online offering
of Georgia's Own Credit Union. It allows members greater access to
their accounts online. Through the Online Banking eStatement service,
members can view their statements electronically and see copies of
their checks. Used together with Home Banking and Bill
Pay, the Online Banking eStatement service lets members manage their
Credit Union accounts from the comfort of their own homes.
How is the Online Banking eStatement different from
Home Banking?
Through the Online Banking system
you can get access to real time account balances and history as well
as transfer funds between your accounts. The Online Banking eStatement
Service does not allow you the ability to transfer funds and does
not give you up to the minute account balances and history. Instead,
the Online Banking eStatement Service is intended to provide you
with older history presented in the form of eStatements. In addition,
the Online Banking eStatement Service gives you the ability to view
copies of your checks online.
How much does the Online Banking eStatement
cost?
There is currently no charge for using the Online Banking eStatement
Service. It is offered to our members as an extension of our commitment
to Member Service.
How do I sign up for the Online Banking
eStatement Service?
Within Online Banking, click on the Services tab, then
the Register or Unregister for eStatements link. Follow the simple
instructions
and agree to the Online Banking eStatement disclosures and you will
have instant access to your electronic statements.
Is the Online Banking
eStatement Service secure?
Yes! The Online Banking eStatement Service uses both traditional
userid/password security as well as 128 bit SSL encryption to your
browser.
What if
I still want to get paper statements?
You can always print a hard copy of your eStatements at any time
within the Online Banking eStatement Service. The Credit Union can
also provide you with hard copies for a small charge. If, however,
you
wish to continue receiving your paper statements by mail you will
no longer be able to access the Online Banking eStatement Service.
To enroll, click on the Services tab within Online Banking Home Banking,
then the Register or Unregister from eStatements link and follow
the directions.
If you've already registered, you can sign-on right now. |
